Our experience
Our team's experience spans the best part of the last two decades. We have seen the rise of the modern day cyber threats and have advised all major central government departments on how to build resilience against them.
Collectively, we have provided the public sector with G-Cloud services and consultancy since 2000. Our team has experience at local, as well as central government levels - demonstrating an agile ability to work alongside partners, whatever the department size.

Pionen will undertake any necessary training with your team. Formats include seminars, workshops or courseware, and will be tailored to the nuances of your department and service delivered.
We will guide you on appropriate organisational structures, policies and processes, to allow you to understand, assess and systematically manage security risks to the network and information systems supporting essential functions.
Prior to commencement of any project, a full implementation plan will be discussed with clients. Our implementation plans are based on your support needs and will be developed to reflect the service requirements. Every department is unique, and demands an attentive and tailored service.

Whether it’s migration to a new cloud service, or further reinforcements to existing systems, Pionen offers a service catalogue that is fully NCSC CAF compliant.
Pionen utilises a variety of methodologies, dependent on the project requirements. Most commonly, we utilise Prince 2, Waterfall, Scrum, Agile and ITLL, but our services and experience are not limited to these methods. All methodologies are underpinned with experience of the GDS Service manual. Our teams align their expertise with your preferred style of working to achieve desired goals. We are malleable to the organisations we work with.
